Gasoil

Our Products

Gas Oil is mainly used for the construction sector, to power excavators, generators, cranes, dumper trucks and lots of other machines & vehicles. The sheer number of uses in construction gives an idea of how much fuel the typical construction site will use. Another common sector is the agricultural industry. With farmers using many different machines and vehicles on a farm, these will mostly be powered by gas oil. Farmers also have grain dryers and heaters that need powering too.
Looking forward continued pressure to move away from Gas Oil may take place. However, the switch away will take time to materialize and the overall outlook for total middle distillates (gasoil/diesel, heating oil and jet/kero) demand in the medium term will continue to be favorable. This growth will be driven in part by a strong economic outlook globally.

Demand in the shipping sector is also expected to boost overall gasoil demand when the International Maritime Organization’s MARPOL Annex VI regulations on sulfur content in bunker fuel is introduced by 2020. This will significantly reduce bunker demand for high sulfur fuel and raise demand for low sulfur marine gasoil either as a direct product or blended into 0.5% sulfur fuel oil.Apparently WSA is engaged in the supply of;10, 50, and 500 ppm.
